o   On the Offense for Science and Technology Education

A new online journal, "Science Progress", was launched on the 50th Anniversary of the Soviet launch of Sputnik.  The editors asked Marc Pearl to write an article for its inaugural issue on the need for America to once again be spurred to focus on prioritizing policy initiatives in funding science and technology education in the pursuit of inspired scientific inquiry and a high standard of excellence.

 o   Auditing Your Influence

ITPS was commissioned to assess the government relations program of the National Recreation & Parks Association.  ITPS has developed an important assessment and recommendation tool, called a "Public Policy Perception Audit."  Marc Pearl, together with former NRPA CEO, John Thorner, wrote a special article for the December 2007 edition of the American Society of Association Executive’s national magazine – Associations Now.

o   The DTV Transition - Senate Commerce Committee

ITPS represents the Consumer Electronics Retailers Coalition (CERC).  In his capacity as CERC's Executive Director, Marc Pearl was asked to testify before the Senate Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee on the DTV Transition in October 2007.  This is the testimony that he provided at the first and only Senate hearing thus far on the issue.
